Studio Policies

We want to make our studio a relaxing, peaceful & smoothly running environment for you. As your safety is our top priority, our terms + policies will be enforced. Please make sure you read through all of our policies.

Bookings

You can now book with us directly on our website, a card will be held on file to be charged after your appointment. Please note that we can't accept walk-ins and that we only provide services if the services are scheduled in advance. Please note that clients under 18 with need prior signed consent from a parent or guardian prior to receiving services.

We do not offer refunds on our services after they have been completed. Your satisfaction is so important to us, if for any reason you feel unsatisfied with your service, please let us know so we can make it right. Blue Velvet Skincare reserves the right to cancel any appointment without providing an explanation and/or reason.

Gift Card sales are final sale and are not eligible for refund. They never expire and can be used towards the payment of any service or product.

Late policy, Cancelations & Rescheduling

Sometimes, life happens! We understand that you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you may do this by reaching out to bluevelvetskincare@gmail.com . Please know that showing up late or canceling/ rescheduling appointments at too short of notice, gives us no time to fill your slot or preform our services correctly! To keep our studio running smoothly, please understand that any bookings will be subject to the following:

You can modify/cancel any reservations without a charge up to 24 hours preceding the start time of your reservation. Any changes made less than 24 hours will be considered a “LATE CANCELLATION” and be charged 50% of the scheduled service(s). This 50% charge will be made to the card on file.

If you make a same day cancellation or do no show up to your reservation, you will be considered a “NO SHOW” and be charged 100% of your service(s). Arrival 15 minutes or more after your treatment time may be considered as a "No Show" and the cancelation fee will apply.

To experience our services to the fullest, please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled time. Late arrivals will only be given services for their allotted time & charged the full price of their service(s).

If your reservation was booked within 24-hr period, you are still subject to our cancellation policy.

Day of Appointment Protocol

  1. If you are a first time client, please make sure to fill out our pre-screening intake form, this helps us prepare a service that will be more beneficial to your unique skin!

  2. Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.

  3. Please arrive at your appointment alone. We can't accommodate extra guests or children and our waiting area is not available for use.

  4. Call to cancel/reschedule if you are feeling ill or have any covid/cold symptoms.

  5. Come prepared to pay with card and leave % tip on all services.

COVID + Safety Standards

Here at Blue Velvet Skincare a clean, sanitized and hygienic studio for each appointment. After each appointment our studio is sanitized for our next guest. Staff is required to wear a face masks & gloves. Thank you for your patience & kindness during this trying time. We are grateful for each and every client.
