Frequently asked questions.

How do I prepare for  a facial?

  1. Skip any strong at home treatments/exfoliation at least 3 days prior

  2. Try not to tan or burn near your appointment (Wear sunscreen ALWAYS)

  3.  Check your calendar- Do you have a big event coming up? Let Julianne know ahead of time if your facial is the same day of your event.

I typically recommend doing a facial at least a week prior to any important event.

  1. Don’t wax your skin for 24-48 hours before your treatment. Waxing too soon beforehand could lead to irritation and a stinging sensation.

  2.  Turn your phone off or put it on silent! This is your time to unplug and relax :)

How often is it recommended to get a facial?

We recommend every 3-8 weeks for best results!

Can getting a facial make you break out?

Sometimes our skin will purge (break out or have sensitivity) post treatment because your body is eliminating toxins and impurities that come out from below the surface. Though you may have a break out initially, purging is overall beneficial and will lead to brighter clearer skin in the future.

Can someone come with me during the treatment?

Unfortunately, no! Our space is small and we want to create the most peaceful environment! We have a small waiting room outside if anyone would like to sit but please note no kids are allowed in the waiting room unsupervised.
